Welcome Safety - Earthquake Lifelines 2016

Permanent Lifeline System UNI 11578: 2015.

Working safely with Lifeline systems even in the 2016 earthquake crater.

Working at height exposes workers to extremely high risks to their health and safety, in particular the risk of falling from above. Lifelines are anchorage structures installed on the roofs of buildings to guarantee a protection system against falls from high altitudes for all workers who find themselves working "in quota", i.e. at a "height of more than 2 metres above a stable surface", as per Legislative Decree 81/08.

Advantages of the Welcome Safety Lifeline system

  • UNI 11578: 2015 certification.
  • Stainless steel elements: high durability in any corrosive environment including highly saline environment (C5-M); the components of the system having the same corrosion potential cancel the triggering of galvanic currents.
  • Laser cut.
  • No welding.
  • Mechanical assembly.
  • Deformable system. The simple stainless steel geometries have been designed to have:
  1. high structural ductility, i.e. overcoming the elastic range without reducing resistance;
  2. higher dissipative capacity compared to equivalent galvanised steel systems;
  3. reduced load on the supporting structure.
  • Multiple use: for load-bearing structures in wood, steel and concrete, flat roofs, gable roofs, sloping roofs and vertical walls.
  • Easy and versatile installation.
  • No visual impact.
  • Reduction of thermal bridges and vibrations on the load-bearing structure.
  • Seal at both ends: the use of U-shaped clamps is no longer permitted for closing the ropes or any part of the device (Standard UNI EN 795-2012 point 4.1.2).
  • Immediate visual verification that the device has been put into service.
  • Reduced maintenance cost: maintenance becomes a mere formality.
  • Assistance from design to installation.
  • Instant quotes.
